Sayings In The Gospel Books
Part VII
- Because They Have Heard The Truth.
22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for
their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works
which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My
Father. 25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, 'They
hated Me without a cause.'
John 15:22-25
Whoever that has heard the Truth, and yet fails to abide in it is not trustworthy. He excludes himself from the kingdom of heaven.
- Rely On The True Helper.
26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who
proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you
have been with Me from the beginning.
John 15:26-27
The help of the Holy Spirit has always been with man. It manifests itself
as conscience. Any man that obeys the Holy Spirit, gains all. And whoever that rejects the Holy
Spirit loses all. This is a simple fact, and it is not hard to understand. Your ability to receive and understand the guidance of the Holy Spirit depends much on what you know. Therefore, strive to know the Truth, even comprehensively. Read and study are very important books of spirit.
Now, I have come from the Father, and I testify of Jesus. I say what Jesus
said, and I do what Jesus did. Also, I say and do what Jesus would say and do. I wonder how Jesus
was able to say those things He said without adulteration, even when the world was in utter
darkness. Nobody could say or do what He said and did then, except He is God from the beginning. And He is God.
- Jesus Warns and Comforts His Disciples
1 "These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. 2 They will put you
out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God
service. 3 And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. 4
But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of
them.
"And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.
John 16:1-4
Every form of religious violence is not from the Father. To raise the
smallest pin against another person is an enough reason to cast a soul into he hell fire. If violence
were the solution to problems, God has more than enough tempests to do it; He has more than enough
whirlwind to do havoc; He has more than enough fire and brimstone to destroy the sinners; He has
uncountable Legions of Angels to eradicate; even, at His will or command, all things shall cease to
exist. Yet, He is patient, long-suffering, merciful and kind.
- It Is Necessary That I Go To The Father.
5 "But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, 'Where are You going?' 6 But
because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you
the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not
come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He has come, He will convict the
world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me;
10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the
ruler of this world is judged.
John 16:5-11
So it is.
- The Work Of The Holy Spirit
12 "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the
Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own
authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will
glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father
has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.
John 16:12-15
So it is.
- A Little While
16 "A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because
I go to the Father."
John 16:16
Jesus and His Angels are often descending to the earth and ascending into heaven.
- Insignificant Sufferings.
20 Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you
will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. 21 A woman, when she is in labor, has
sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer
remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22 Therefore you
now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will
take from you.
John 16:20-22
It is necessary that the world experience a little sadness, before they
enter into everlasting joy, which is abundant. This is because foolish man learns nothing from
wisdom, but a wise man learns so much from foolishness. When a seed dies inside the ground, it
regenerates itself and bears much fruit. Blessed be our God who is able to recover and restore all
things. This is our heritage, and none can take it away from us. In the light of everlasting life and treasures, all sufferings pale into insignificance.
- Providence Is Sure
23 "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the
Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you
will receive, that your joy may be full.
John 16:23-24
To ask in the name of Jesus is the same as Jesus Himself asking. By this He
makes the Father’s love and authority available to all.
- Now Is The Time To Know The Truth.
25 "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no
longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. 26 In
that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; 27
for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth
from God.
John 16:25-27
God is Love, Loving and Beloved. Seek and know the Truth, not religions or churches, which are often contradictory and confusing.
- You Are Expected To Overcome The World.
28 I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to
the Father."
John 16:28
We are the children of Light.
We came from Light.
And to the Light we shall return.
This light is spirit and is God.
- Strive To Retain And Secure Whatever Precious Teachings You Have Received.
31 Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe? 32 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because
the Father is with Me.
John 16:31-33
Nobody is ever alone. Study Spiritual Science to know the Truth.
- Jesus Christ Has Overcome the World
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have
tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
John 16:33
Jesus has overcome. He has shown us an example. Everyone is expected to
overcome. You can, if only you strive in earnest.
- Jesus Prays for Himself.
1 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come.
Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all
flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal
life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 I have
glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O
Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world
was.
John 17:1-5
God glorifies a person with the fullness of God - His perfect and incorruptble nature.
- Jesus Prays for His Disciples. Then And Now.
6 "I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours,
You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You
have given Me are from You. 8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they
have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that
You sent Me.
9 "I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are
Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 Now I am no
longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your
name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the
world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost
except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and
these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have
given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am
not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should
keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have
sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be
sanctified by the truth.
John 17:6-19
Amen.
- Jesus Prays for All Believers. Then And Now.
20 "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in
Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given
them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made
perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have
loved Me.
24 "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may
behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O
righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You
sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which
You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."
John 17:20-26
Amen.
- How Do You Bear Your Cross?
11 So Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My
Father has given Me?"
John 18:11
How do you bear your cross? Do you complain and murmur, while bearing your
cross? Or do you bear it with purity of heart, with joy and contentment? Do you have a heart that
forgives all and asks for nothing in return? Be wise. A dirty plate is never fit for eating, but a
clean plate is a welcome vessel. Bear your cross with joy, purity of heart, goodwill, contentment,
forgiving all, so that you can receive everlasting blessing fro God.
- The Truth Is Like The Sun That Never Hides.
19 The high priest then asked Jesus about His disciples and His doctrine.
20 Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the
temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing. 21 Why do you ask Me? Ask
those who have heard Me what I said to them. Indeed they know what I said."
John 18:19-21
It is disappointing that people usually do not know when the enemy is manipulating them.
- Do Not React More Than Your Leader.
22 And when He had said these things, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm
of his hand, saying, "Do You answer the high priest like that?"
23 Jesus answered him, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why do you
strike Me?"
John 18:22-23
Today, many people honour and defend their religious leaders more than the Truth.
- Jesus Is King Of The Jews.
33 Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, "Are You the King of
the Jews?"
34 Jesus answered him, "Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this
concerning Me?"
John 18:33-34
Do not let others mislead you into doing what is wrong.
- This Evil World Belongs To Satan, And Shall Be Replaced With God's Kingdom.
35 Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me.
What have You done?"
36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants
would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."
John 18:35-36
Now, Michael is here, with Legions of Legions of Legions of Angels, to pull down the strongholds of darkness and to flush out everything evil.
- The Sons Of God Bear Witness To The Truth.
37 Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?"
Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I
have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth
hears My voice."
John 18:37
Pilate said Jesus is King of the Jews because he was judging Jesus based on that. And Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
- True Power And Authority Come From Heaven.
10 Then Pilate said to Him, "Are You not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have power to
crucify You, and power to release You?"
11 Jesus answered, "You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from
above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."
John 19:10-11
So it is.
- Everyboy Is Your Mother, Brother And Sister.
26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His
mother, "Woman, behold your son!" 27 Then He said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!" And from
that hour that disciple took her to his own home.
John 19:25-27
The same applies to all. Every other person is your brother and sister, because God is the Father of All.
- It Is Finished.
28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be
fulfilled, said, "I thirst!" 29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled
a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30 So when Jesus had received
the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
John 19:28-30
The work of salvation is complete and perfect. It shall take time to become fully manifest. Evolution is the long process of creation.
- Ensure Purity And Holiness In All Things.
11 But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the
tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where
the body of Jesus had lain. 13 Then they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?"
She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid
Him."
14 Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know
that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?"
Do not seek the living among the dead, for the dead are not dead. Also, do not count all the living as living because many are already dead in spirit.
- Holiness Is Very Important
She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me
where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away."
16 Jesus said to her, "Mary!"
She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which is to say, Teacher).
17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My
brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your
God.'"
John 20:11-17
Holiness is both good and compulsory.
- Peace Be With You.
… Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you."
John 20:19
Be the first to greet.
- Research.
21 So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." 22 And
when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you
forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."
John 20:21-23
Every minister of God should research into this statement, for majority of the dead are not entering heaven. And it is an evidence that most of the ministers do not even know what they have been called to do and teach. As compulsory, they have to study Spiritual Science. Nobody can work for God without the Holy Spirit, and nobody can undersatnd the Holy Spirit without learning about spirit.
- Nothing Stops The Spirit.
26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the
doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to you!" 27 Then He said to Thomas,
"Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side.
Do not be unbelieving, but believing."
John 20:26-27
A spirit can pass through solids.
- Believe Only What Is True.
29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who
have not seen and yet have believed."
John 20:29
It is righteousness to believe the Truth. And it is hypocrisy and sin to believe what is false.
- Obedience Is The Key.
4 But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that
it was Jesus. 5 Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?"
They answered Him, "No."
6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So
they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
John 21:3-6
The voice of the Holy Spirit leads to success, prosperity and abundance.
- Start Now To Lead People To God.
9 Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and
bread. 10 Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish which you have just caught."
John 21:9-10
Everybody is a minister of God by his righteousness, by which he can lead others to God.
- Always Fed The Hungry.
12 Jesus said to them, "Come and eat breakfast."
John 21:12
Always feed the hungry. Do so without delay and without expecting
rewards.
- Feed And Tend - Jesus Restores Peter
15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love
Me more than these?"
He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You."
He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
16 He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?"
He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You."
He said to him, "Tend My sheep."
17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because
He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?"
And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You."
Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.
Feed and tend the sheep. This He spoke three times to show how very important the task of caring
for children is.
- Follow Jesus.
18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you
girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands,
and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish." 19 This He spoke, signifying by
what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."
John 21:15-19
If you do not want to be carried to places you do not want to go to, study Spiritual Science.
- Live And Let Live.
20 Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on
His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?" 21 Peter, seeing him,
said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?"
22 Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me."
John 21:20-22
Be concerned with the task assigned to you. God will take care of others.
